HealthWay® will povide over 2,500 air purifiers to the Syracuse City School District to help improve indoor air quality for students, teachers, and staff

Pulaski, NY – September 28, 2020 – The Syracuse City School District has announced that they will install 2,500 HealthWay Intellipure® air purification units throughout 35 of their school buildings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Syracuse City School District has over 20,000 students and 1,900 teachers. 

Intellipure air purification systems are a crucial step in getting students and teachers back to school safely. The Syracuse City School District is providing an extra layer of safety for teachers and students by installing two Intellipure Compact units on the walls of each classroom. Intellipure® air filtration systems are individually tested and certified to filter 99.97% of all particulate at .3 μm. 

Intellipure’s  DFS technology removes ultrafine particulate from the air and has been tested to remove 99.97% down to 0.007 μm, which is smaller in size than most known virus particles. DFS technology also removes pollutants like pollen, dust, and odors from the air that often cause allergies in children and adults. Each Intellipure unit is individually tested and certified during a single pass filtration test to ensure that it performs at or better than the HEPA industry standard. Our DFS technology achieves HEPA total system efficiency, meaning every air purifier achieves greater than 99.97% efficiency at .3 micron.
