What square footage does the Compact Unit cover?
The Compact Unit effectively cleans a 500 square foot room with a standard ceiling height of 8.5 feet. It will also provide up to 2 additional air exchanges per hour in this size space.
It is a great option for a bedroom, small living area, office space, classroom, and more. The Compact Unit can also be purchased with a wall mount to keep the unit up off the floor away from tampering, dampness, or accidental damage.

UV Light
UV light purifiers use UV-C light, also known as germicidal light. It harms cells by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, which either kills them or leaves them incapacitated. These cells have to be exposed to UV-C light for long periods of time for this to work.
One of the biggest concerns with UV-C light is that it can produce various levels of ozone. Even small levels of ozone can cause lung irritation, chest pain shortness of breath, and coughing.
