SuperV
The SuperV Whole-House air cleaner uses our DFS technology to circulate fresh, contaminate-free air throughout the entire home. The industry-leading system provides greater than MERV 16 filtration efficiency with the pressure drop of a MERV 8 filter. It is installed outside of the furnace’s blower, resulting in lower pressure drop, and higher energy savings.

Should I own an air purifier?
Air pollution is the world’s largest single environmental health risk and it affects everyone. Poor indoor air quality can cause many different health issues. Air pollution has been linked to cardiovascular disease, asthma, pulmonary diseases, cancer, fertility problems, allergies, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, and more. The average person spends 90% of their time indoors. This is why breathing clean, healthy indoor air is so important. The EPA recommends protecting yourself from harmful indoor air pollutants when possible.
For many reasons, we believe that our DFS technology is the most efficient and effective air cleaning technology on the market today. Our technology is proven to remove 99.99% of airborne particles at 0.007 µm in size.
What is a MERV rating?
A MERV rating, also known as a Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values, reports a filter’s ability to capture particles between 0.3 and 10 microns (µm). This value is helpful in comparing the performance of different filters. The higher the MERV rating the better the filter is at trapping specific types of particles.
How is HealthWay’s DFS technology different from UV light air purifiers?
UV Light
UV light purifiers use UV-C light, also known as germicidal light. It harms cells by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, which either kills them or leaves them incapacitated. These cells have to be exposed to UV-C light for long periods of time for this to work.
One of the biggest concerns with UV-C light is that it can produce various levels of ozone. Even small levels of ozone can cause lung irritation, chest pain shortness of breath, and coughing.
DFS Technology
Healthway’s proprietary Disinfecting Filtration System (DFS) technology uses a high-energy field that enhances filtration efficiency and filter life. DFS achieves total system efficiency, meaning our air purifiers are tested to achieve greater or at 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 micron. HealthWay units have been third-party tested to uphold rigorous standards such as Intertek Zero Ozone and EN 1822.
